Sorrento Platz
The Sorrento apartment is located in the small village of
Pogerola in the hills of Amalfi, which is not too far from
the centre of town, it is close to all the
activities of the towns along the coastline.
Our apartment is at the top level of the apartment block in the Pogerola
valley, just short of being half a mile from the village centre.
The interior has a large master bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom has 2 single beds,
a third bed is a sofa bed and bathroom in the lounge, and a nice open space kitchen.
The apartment has been maintained to a high standard and is regularly maintained as and
when required, it has also been decorated and you have the benefit of air conditioning and central heating.
Stunning views over the Salerno gulf and the village surrounding it,
the view of the drive up is panoramic and the sea view is impressive.
This is classic landscape for a Mediterranean location, the land is
perfect for producing olives and lemons on the side terraces.
Sorrento is a small town in Campania, in the southern part of Italy,
it is a popular tourist destination which can be reached easily from
Naples and the City of Pompeii,
as it lies at the south-eastern end of the
Circumvesuviana rail line.
The town of Sorrento overlooks the
Bay of Naples and is considered to be the key place of the
Sorrentine Peninsula, and lots of areas to view Naples
itself, Vesuvius and the Isle of Capri.
The Amalfi Drive a coastal road which connects Sorrento and Amalfi, is a narrow
road that heads along the high above cliffs the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Pogerola is a small hamlet town of Amalfiand is a unqiue and popluar
for being a peaceful and quiet place with fresh air and lots of plantations.
Here the bars and pubs, restaurants and cafes of a
varied of cuisine and wine all relatively cheap.
